Brisbane to Mackay — and home

The trip was built around the 2026 Queensland State H.O.G. Rally in Mackay. After the first day to Rockhampton, Day 2 included lunch at Kickstart Saloon and the Lotus Creek section before the chapter reached Mackay.

The rally brought together more than 500 attendees, including 44 members from Gasoline Alley Chapter. After the Mackay sightseeing and rally program, the return trip ran south through Bundaberg before the final leg to Brisbane.

Ride north

Day 1 — Brisbane to Rockhampton

The rally journey began with the long run north from Brisbane to Rockhampton, including visits to Harbour City Harley-Davidson and Rockhampton Harley-Davidson before the overnight break.

The second day continued north through Central Queensland, with lunch at Kickstart Saloon and the Lotus Creek section before arriving in Mackay for the rally weekend.

A local sightseeing ride formed the riding centrepiece of the rally stay, with the wider weekend including the official rally activities and Thunder Run.
