The ride
Border ranges and country stops
The April chapter ride started at BP Stapylton before heading south to Flutterbies at Tyalgum. From there the route worked back toward the Gold Coast hinterland for the Wallaby Hotel at Mudgeeraba and finished around the Bearded Dragon at Tamborine.
The day followed the familiar chapter format: social pace, scheduled stops and a route that mixed open roads with the tighter country sections around the border and hinterland.
Ride timings
Arrival was scheduled for 7:45 am, with the ride brief at 8:15 am and stands up at 8:30 am.
