Rodeo season heading towards the finals
I drove to Caboolture and met up with friends at the showgrounds for the Triple B Final Showdown. A daytime rodeo felt different from the other rodeos I have been to lately and gave the whole event its own character.
There are plenty of rodeos happening at the moment as the competition season gets close to the finals. That made the Final Showdown a good chance to catch more arena action while the season is still in full swing.
From the arena to the stage
The live music followed the rodeo and kept the country atmosphere going. Briana Dinsdale, Mack Geiger and Hayley Jensen were my favourite performers from the day.
I headed to the merch stand to buy a Mack Geiger shirt and found Hayley Jensen there. She was kind enough to stop for a quick photo, which made for a good unexpected moment between the performances.
